Compact Air Quality Management Systems

Compact Air Quality Monitoring Systems are specially integrated solutions that can be deployed in urban areas or industrial sites with space constraint, or easily mounted on vans as mobile monitoring systems. They are ideal for short-term, periodic monitoring or environmental baseline surveys, while meeting EU and USEPA certifications for the key criteria pollutants.

Recordum Airpointer

The Airpointer®, designed and manufactured by recordum Messtechnik GmbH (Austria), is a compact, modular multi-gas air quality monitoring system. It is the world’s first ‘out-of-the-box plug and play’ AQ monitoring system implementing US-EPA approved/EU certified reference methods of gas analyzers. Due to its reduced size, floor-space /road space is not required. It is easy to transport and has maintenance costs and carbon footprint reduced up to 90%.

The Airpointer offers a choice of analysis modules using type-approved reference methods for monitoring airborne pollutants (SO2, NO2/NOX, CO, O3, and PM) classified as relevant by the US-EPA and other responsible organizations all over the world.

Additional options:

  • Various types of mounting brackets

  • Wireless communication (GPRS, 3G)

  • Sample gas conditioning (high relative humidity, high PM exposure)

  • Integration of external devices and instruments (e.g. 4-20 mA, RS-232, Modbus via IP)

  • Solutions to communicate with external data systems (e.g. TCP-IP, Modbus via IP, RS-232, 4-20 mA)

  • Various base frames and handling devices for on-site operation (roadside, workshop, indoor, pickup truck, trailer)

Met One BAM1022

Met One Instruments, Inc. BAM 1022, Real-Time Portable Beta Attenuation Mass Monitor, continuously measures the mass concentration of ambient particulate matter collected onto glass filter tape with time resolution of one-minute.

The BAM 1022 employs an in-line sampling geometry in which the attenuation of beta rays across filter media is measured and particulate matter is sampled simultaneously. This allows ambient sampling to occur for virtually 60 minutes each hour. It also allows for beta ray measurements to be made for virtually the entire hour thereby improving sensitivity and time resolution.

Met One Instruments Model BAM-1022 is an instrument development of the model BAM-1020 with the US EPA Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) designation for continuous monitoring of PM2.5, in addition to the older EPA designation of monitoring PM10. BAM-1022 has also received the corresponding PM2.5 and PM10 certification in the European Union.

Met One E-BAM Plus

E-BAM  stands for Environmental Beta Attenuation Monitor, it is a light-weight and portable monitoring station manufactured by Met One Instruments for ambient particulate matter, dust and haze pollution using state-of-art beta attenuation measurement principle, a method certified by USEPA as one of the Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) for particulate matter monitoring.

E-BAM Plus is a portable, real-time beta gauge which has EPA Approval for PM10 particulate measurements. The E-BAM Plus will satisfy users, regulators and those from the health community by providing truly accurate, precise, real time measurement of fine particulate matter automatically. It is a rugged, portable, battery operated package easily deployed and operational in 15 minutes.
